The workshop is complimentary to you and made possible by donations from the charity's corporate, community and individual donors and our volunteers. The workshop is not intended to replace medical care or attention in any way.
At your workshop, you will receive a complimentary kit of skincare and cosmetic products. The products in your kit have been generously donated by the health and beauty industry who support Look Good Feel Better.
While some of these products may not be your specific shade match or preference, they are meant for educational purposes so you can practice the techniques you learn in the workshop. Please note the contents in the kits may vary from participant to participant due to the quantity of product donated. Health Canada works closely with the personal-care products industry to regulate and ensure the safety of cosmetics and personal care products. All products are required to meet national regulations.
If you have questions regarding the products, including possible adverse reactions to cosmetic and personal care products, please consult your doctor or nurse. If you are currently undergoing active treatment, it is important you discuss any possible side effects of your treatment as well as possible adverse reactions to ingredients in these products with your doctor, oncology nurse, or healthcare provider.
